Schöpfer

An welcher Arbeit bist Du grad dran? Was interessiert und begeistert, was berührt Dich daran?

There is a tangle in me, a skein. I feel, experience, observe what is and what is not. I try to organize, process, design, create. Sometimes there is time for it, sometimes there is not. I’m chased by what has to be. What wants to be can often not. I try to recognize the common thread, to make it visible, tangible and understandable for me, to capture it performatively, to fixate it, to embroider it, to crochet it into shape. I like the movement in the body. From the stream of thoughts and sensations in the head, to the feeling in the heart, the grasping of the material with the hand, the repeating, prancing rhythms in the shoulder and wrist. I crochet feelings and thoughts, embroider observed sensation and behavioral phenomena into drawings – the materialistic shaping of immaterial world experience. First and foremost, it is an abstract process that is important to me for its own sake. The performative character of this creative metabolic process gives me fun and joy, makes meaning visible to me. For me, this artistic, creative thinking and acting is a means of insight that gives me orientation, love of life, self awareness and world-awareness. What is being created is like a mirror of the tangle in me that helps me unravel it.
